Torque/Torque Pro Manual

You know - the Android app.

Does anyone have a .pdf copy of the manual for it? Googoe-Fu hasn't turned anything up, and the "homepage" for the app itself is non-responsive.

LMK, please.
Have you registered/looked here:

Ah - the site is finally working!

I'd gotten Torque Free last week when the ELM327 came in, and just got Torque Pro to-day (it's only five bucks.)

This is already very cool - now I'd like to know what I'm doing when I play with it, and confirm my guesses on various readings...

Simple, plug n pray.. haha.

I got a chance to talk to a shop new work that handles automotive accessories to see if they can get the cables. He's going to give me a call tomorrow once he get's the chance to call a couple vendors to see if they can get one and what the price is.

The Bluetooth adapters apparently have some lag to them. I have been experimenting with a little extra alcohol in the fuel I don't want that lag in case I do something stupid like a couple weeks back and put a little too much in it. I was safe, but would have been nice to know what the O2 was reading.

Are you using the free or paid version? I have noticed zero lag with the paid version.

I haven't even loaded the free version yet. One of the guys on a Chrysler 200 owners forum I ho on has had that happen with his 200S and C-5 Vette. The Vette even required a non-low profile Bluetooth devicebecause the low profile one he had bought wouldn't work on it's OBD2 system, but worked fine on his 200's........not sure why, but that's what happeded.

There is some lag, but I don't see a big difference between the app/bluetooth adapter and the ScanGauge I had previously. If you need really precise readouts in realtime, the cheapest app available for a phone is probably not the right solution.

Well I can use my hand again so thats good. Thanks for asking, good memory.

Haven't flown lately and now that I have two hands again I got alot of stuff to do with the jeep.

Good to hear your hand is doing better! I haven't done much with any of my RC's of late ither than move them around. Was able to get a manual seat track for mine, just never got the chance to swap it out yet........kinda fearing stuck bolts to be honest.

Out of curiosity, why bother with the cable when you can by a Bluetooth adapter for so cheap?

Wireless comms have more lag than wireline comms - extra handshaking and ECC protocols involved.

I see the same thing when I transfer files on WiFi or Bluetooth vice plugging in a cable and going - if it's a big file, it goes over on a cable or a drive.
