tie rod part number

does anyone know a tie rod that will work with the skyjacker adjustable trac bar . its a 3/4 in 16 thread . i need to replace it asap but i dont want to use a heim joint ,

try napa.....that's where i get my adjustable trackbar ends......i don't know if it'll fit, but my RC adj. trackbar uses the same ends as a 71CJ5.

i just checked out that part id dosent look like a 3/4 in rod . i could be the pic , but the other ones look bigger

is the part number (moog) es258r ?

that is one of the numbers that comes up as a tie rod end.....

if you go to www.napaonline.com pull up 71 jeep cj5 and look up tie rod, you'll come up with several numbers...

like i said, i don't know if that'll work for yours or not.

I use Dodge truck tie rod ends on my HD tie rod. They are a 3/4 x 16. The part number is ES2847R. Reverse thread is ES2847L. Hope that helps.

Sorry for the re-hash of this onld thread. But I am doing this today and found the information here useful.

I also wanted to add some updated info:

MOOG # ES258R is a discontinued number.

MOOG ES2847RT is the one you want.
