Last night Jessica Torres was involved in an accident and pronounced dead at the scene. She is survived her husband Joe (XJoe on this forum, Six-Nine on others) and two children, 11 and 15.

A lot of us have wheeled with Joe over the years, first with his Cherokee and most recently with his YJ. Please keep the Torres family in your thoughts, and if there is anything we can do, please don't hesitate, Joe.

I have only had the opportunity to wheel with you a couple of times, but you hold a very special place in my wheeling experiences. You are a wonderful person with a strong heart. I can not imagine for a second what you are going through. I hope that you and your kids are able to get through this together and help create additional bonds that last the rest of your lives.

How come the a$$hole always walks away? Its just not fair. My good friend's sister got hit by a drunk on I-5, he walked away, she died.

So all of us have heard the news about Joe's (Six Nine) wife Jessica Torres passing away tragically Monday evening. I made mention about a bank account to help out with cost of everything. Well there is now a bank account set up for this.All the money that is deposited in that fund will help the family pay their mortgage, groceries, and medical expenses. You can go to ANY Bank of America and deposit any amount of money.The account name is JESSICA TORRES Family Fund. If you would like to reference the bank account number (for ease of deposit) you may 35510346. Any amount will help out. We all as wheelers need to pull together and help out a fellow wheeler in his time of despair. He is going to need time to heel and be with his kids and the rest of his family. Not being able to work means the bills are going to stack up and worrying about bills should be the last thing on his mind. So if you can spare a 20$ or what ever you can afford this will help out in many ways. Thanks you all for your support ,thoughts and prayers for a very genuine friend as Joe.

Some of us know Joe and some of us dont. Regardless, one of our fellow NW wheelers and his family is going through a horribly tragic time. Anything we can do to help would be greatly appreciated.
