what did you do for the rear Ebrake cables? mine are too short. Did you take em out or did you use some kind of an extension?
I was looking at MJ cables but i think they are too long.

I got rid of my ebrake junk.

I did a grand Cherokee disc brake conversion and used the grand Cherokee cables.

zj disc conversion or no ebrake.. are my choices... hmmm

They make a huge difference in stopping. Especially for how cheap they can be done for.

i ll have buy a zj axle complete imagine.. i got the xj 44.. so what year ZJ's have the 44a's with disc's?\
could i use WJ disc's? or a complete wj axle.. and use the disc brakes off of it?

44 u have to use crown vic brakes I think
I used disc off a zj d35 on my 8.25
Zj cables too long so I cut spliced it back together

You can use zj brakes on a 44 and 8.25 there is just more work involved taking the bearings off the 44 when installing the new brakes. Some junk yards will sell the rotors and backing plates separate and not the whole axle. Mine are off a 96 XJ and mattvw65 his are off a 97 I believe.

You can use ZJ brakes on the 44.

Crown vic brakes would be easier to find tho.

The pull a part would allow you to pull what ever you want. Go on a half off weekend.

Put in a line lock and forget the hassle with the e brake extensions. Works with disc or drum. Used them on drag cars for years and all the big trucks with hydraulic brakes use them. Just my $0.02
