This is funny...she is crazy

non-topic... :D

this lady is fuckin nuts... no way she would even get a hundred bucks from me..

I want rims just like that, Ive got GC rims on mine when I bought it, and I dont like the design at all.

But I dont want them $600 worth! HAHA!

She probably asked the price new at the dealerhship, figured if she knocked the price to half of what is new, she was giving them away.

She's probably the type that gives away all her money to Stealerships and thinks she is getting good service. She is probably going to start learning a real lesson in value.

didnt any of you consider the fact that there might be cocaine in them? i think she gave it away when she said these rims are "stocked"

You guys would be amazed at how much those rims would fetch to the right person....ive seen a similar set go for a little under that on ebay before.

Although, in this case, i think shes being a tad bit optimistic...:wierd:

And to think I sold my wheels like that to the local pawn shop for just 30 bucks with some wore out Cooper LT's on 'em. (just wanted them gone)
Had them up for free on another fourm since I scored these for free and nobody wanted to come get my old ones......

(spare was BRAND NEW and the others were only wore 1/16th of an inch from new)

The page has a counter at the bottom.

She's probably thinking to herself "Over 400 views, but no one is calling???"

I spent less for a set of 5 new Centerlines; delivered! Maybe she has a couple of extra zeros there.

Anybody thinking about prank calling her?
Thought about it but the long distance would probably buy me one of those rims.
Seriously though they aren't really as worthless as you'd think. I've been looking for one for a while now since ruining one last year. Going rate at the local salvage yards is $100/ea, $75/ea in rough condition. Finally scored one from a guy in the local jeep club for $20, just have to go get it sometime. But yeah, $600 bucks is a little high, that's about what I pay for a whole running XJ.

Let's see how high we can get her counter.
I clicked refresh about 50 times and got it over 600 :laugh3:

I had those same rims on my '89 when I got it. Replaced them with Soft-8's and sold the wheels, tires, and pt spare in the local paper's $50 or less section. They went pretty quick, but anything more and it would have taken for ever to get rid of them (as I think she is figuring out now) :)

I had the same issue last summer - came out of NACFest with two of these bent (not noticably, but enough to give my tire shop fits when they put them on the balancing machine). I wound up getting "repaired" ones from Wheel Collision Center (http://www.wheelcollision.com), for $95 each with core. They looked great and balanced even better.

Had they not accepted my old ones as cores, it would have cost me $120 each. Great guy to deal with, seems to be great workmanship, and his prices are good. I don't know how much shipping to Canada would cost you, but you may want to keep his URL in your back pocket...
