Take the "i know its steep but.." part out of the ad. dont admit to thinkin it is high. then they just try and talk ya down. post the 7k and leave it at that.

Also you can list rough prices for parts in () next to them.
Example:
dana 44 (300)
detroit (600)
4.56 gears (500 installed)
33 spline shafts (200)
and so on. That just shows its a 1600 rear axle ya know.

Impreza's are great little cars. Can't beat the AWD for the weather. I would never own a vehicle in Colorado without AWD/4WD if it was my sole means of transportion.

Check out B5 and B6 chassis A4's and B5 and B5.5 Chassis Passats. Passats are amazingly cheap compared to the A4 and Golf/Jetta's, they can be had with a V6 and 4motion (AWD). Very nice cars for the money, and very reliable. If you can find a 4Motion w/ a manual you'll really be in the clear as for some reason Audi/VW's automatics aren't very good.

The A4's will be a little bit more expensive but they're slightly smaller than the Passat and more sporty if you're into that thing. Those you can get w/ the 1.8T and Quattro (AWD) wich gives you a lot of tuning options.

Nice thing about the Passats though is that they aren't on most people's radar for performance and modification. That means the used ones out there tend to be cleaner and better maintained.

It's been 5 days and over a holiday no less. Give it time before you start dropping your price. Put it up or $5,499 and people will start offering your $3,000 and $4,000. It took me 6 months to sell my XJ and I gave it away.
