THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

BILLY where were you today? You guys all missed a sick day of wheeling at Wayne's World, there were close to 30 rigs there.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

If all goes well I will soon be the proud owner of my parents old ram van, I think it is a 5.9... for a very reasonable price. Pretty sure it even has 8 lug 16 inch rims on it, which I also need.

Don't know which size ram it is, but the rearend is either a 44 or a 60 iirc. Will have to find out whether it's any good.

I'm not sure you should worry about your rockers being closer to the body since your wheels are out in the hemisphere somewhere.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Billy is getting a truck bed full of parts. Probably 1000 lb worth of shit.
awesome. 4.0, your old trans, etc?

I am probably picking up a DJ dana 44 for a couple six packs of beer next week, no idea if it's worth using / building or if they were really weak. If it is worth building I'll gladly give it to someone up here for about the same amount, if not I'll probably use it for that redneck woods buggy project idea I had since the MJ 35 I have will be ending up under a trailer.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

aren't those the narrow track centered pumpkins, usually limited slip? good for some cj swaps but never heard of anyone using them for anything else.

there more less there to keep trees from getting hooked between the inside of the tire and the body, aperently scott had that issue

I'm not sure. The guy has it listed for a sixer of beer, so I'm gonna grab a couple and head down. If you know of any guys doing DJ resto projects who end up needing a new axle housing for some reason, spread the word.

(I also know where there are two DJ-5s in a junkyard a few miles from me, but I'm not sure I'd call either one restorable)

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

almost bought a 1976 two months back, had a trailer lined up, rust free body, but was convinced after putting it together (all parts there and running 4.2, automatic, limited slip 44, 2wd) that they're still not worth the $800 selling price. Still wish I got it as they're unique and not so common to see around.

Ken, I was waiting for that tree to fall over right onto your comanche. Next time I would use a longer strap.

Kid from my hometown just posted this pic on facebook. Opinions?
