Teraflex adj track bar?

Is anyone using this track bar? opinions? I did a search already and pretty much seems that RE or ORGS HD are favored here. The garage says I need a track bar to pass PA state inspection, so what better time to upgrade. I called OK4WD in New Jersey (closest 4wd shop) and the teraflex is the only one they have in stock. I couldn't find a real good description of this part on the net. Any input would help. Thanks

I've been running it for 2 or 3 years now without a problem. It's like a heavy duty stock track bar with a slight bend on the axle end to allow more droop, then cut and sleeved to make it adjustable without having to disconnect one end to adjust it.

I've actually gone through 3 adjustables, the RE regular one (1600 I think), the RE heavy duty, and now the TeraFlex. I had the RE 1600 first and it was fine except there was a little bit of play that developed in the heim. Other than that I liked it. It was ruined in a wreck so I had them install the heavy duty one right when they first came out. The bracket didn't fit quite right and was a pain to get on, but I finally got it on. Then the bar would hit the diff cover all the time since I only had 3.5" of lift. So I sold it and bought the TeraFlex one. I'm the only person that I know of that has had that problem though with the RE HD unit. Maybe they changed it since I had it right after they came out with it. If I were going to buy one now I'd take a good look at the Skyjacker one first because it changes the mounting point to the top of the axle which makes it more parallel to the ground. So in short, I like my TeraFlex bar, would take a close look at the Skyjacker bar, and wonder about the RE bars since everybody loves them except me.

Hey guys.. don't mean to hijack the thread... but i just acquired one of these track bars and I need the axle mount bushing replaced. Do you have any idea of the part number or the correct size of the bushing?
I have not been able to contact anyone at TeraFlex directly.. emaill or phone.
thanks and sorry.

I can find out today. I'll be picking it up in a few hours. I'll post it later.
Thanks for the input.

I installed the Skyjacker unit last night, but I haven't had a chance to check it out yet.

I can tell you it is SOLID.

Love it!

I have used the Teraflex trackbar for 2 years and recently they warrentied the TRE on the frame end. They sent me a new upper half and I sent them my old one. Nice.
For the axle end bushing, call Joel at Stage West and tell him what you need.
He set me up with an Energy poly one and had it to me in about 2 days for $15 or something like that.
Hasta.
