Tech forum suggestion

I suggest a new locked forum where posts/threads with good technical merit from other forums are moved/copied into and are archived forever and for posterity. The posts can be proposed and seconded for inclusion in said forum but only actually put in by an admin.

Let me know if this makes no sense at all.

I think they already do that with the FAQ section. If you're post is good enough, you just might end up there!

Would you like to volunteer to tackle such a HUGE project? We have discussed this very idea. It is just not possible for the volunteer org. we have as of now.
