Tahoma area Fishing/Exploring spots

Our annual Taho trip is coming up. Unfortunatley the boy broke his foot. We picked up some fishing gear since we are going to be a bit less active this year, but he still wants to bring the XJ.

Any suggestions on easy to reach but kinda remote fishing spots near Tahoma?

Are ther fish in the lake(s) at the Rubicon exit road? (McKinney and Miller I think?). That would be perfect.

I haven't fished up there but know people who have and they've done well. You have quite a few fishing options in that area.

Thanks for the reply. I did a little research. Looks like Miller, Richardson and Buck are all viable options for mini Jeep run fishing holes.
