Getting ready to install a t-case drop on my 97, and have the UpCountry package with the factory skid. The trailing end of the skid mounts aft of the crossmember.
How have you guys dealt with this? There is always the obvious method of longer bolts and spacers/washers for the rear skid mount location. I have also entertained just bending the rear up and bolting it back down. It is a skid after all, no biggie there. Just thinking that may not work because when I bend the skid the holes will fall somewhat out of alignment. Other ideas?
