Surfin Colorado!

DAMN!!! That was THE coldest day I've ever been snowboarding. 17 degrees below ZERO, before wind chill! Ski Patrol was taking guesses at NEGATIVE 35 DEGREES!!! With four layers on i STILL felt naked on the chair lift. You couldn't move in the lodge as almost everyone was trying to escape the frozen tundra that was Loveland. Started out lousy though. First, I had to pay full price for a lift ticket, cause even though it doesn't say it ANYWHERE on the card or web site, I can only buy 1 ticket per day at the discounted price......and since I told my cousin he'd only have to pay $38, I paid full price. Then we got to the top of the mountain only to brake a binding....thus making y cousin have to rent a board. He also neglected to bring ANY kind of face protection, so he had to buy a bandana.....I would have bought more than just a bandana, but hey. That was our day in a nutshell.

Ouch! Loveland can get cold. My brothers and I went one year. I put on every scrap of clothing I had and never got warm. Ski Patrol said -60 wind chill at the top, the coldest I've been in. I don't care to try that again. LOL
