We had a really productive day in Stump's garage.....and what a garage it is! It was worth the 5 hrs worth of driving, and the 18 hr day for me...Aaron got the Iron Butt award for traveling the furthest!
At the beginning.....gotta have your priorities...we all need energy to be productive!

Great work guys! Stump... I might have to make you a visit one day.

im diggin the nitro tunnel hulls on the wall..... i used to fly planes im lookin at getting into it again when it warms up again....

What all did y'all get done?

Looking good man! Glad you're takin care of it. Looks better than it used to haha.

We opened up, and sealed up the rear wheel wells....they were cut, but still open to the inside.....as a matter of fact, since I had all the trim out of the back, I'm now airing out the wet carpet in the rear. We removed a ton O dirt/mud from behind the rear wheel wells, inside the truck:doh::scared:

Yeah mine were cut just like like by the same guy. I sealed mine from the inside when I sound deafened the interior. Hadn't even wheeled it by that time and already had dirt sittin in the bottom of the inside fenderwell.

I took a bunch of spray in bedliner and spraye in the crack between the panel and inner fender. JB weld on the outside works great too. That way it'll seal up and you can sand down the JB and paint it. Need to finish mine but it seems to be workin well.

While you're at it and if you ain't put the panels back on inside i'd spray some bedliner from the inside all over the fenderwell and in the rear hatch area. Sure cut down the noise and vibration. Bought some Peel-n-seal from Lowes and put it down first. Worth the $12 lol

That is a good idea...spraying the inside for quiet....what is Peel-n-Seal??

It's some roofing stiff but it's made fom the same stuff that Dynamat is. It looks exactly like the stock sound insulation stuff. You can get it at lowes in the insulation isle. It's like $12 a roll i think. One would do the rear hatch and wheel wells pretty good. I used 2 all over.

I pulled the carpet and put it down then sprayed over it with rubberized undercoating. It wasn't actually bedliner now that I think about it lol.

Let it dry it reinstall the carpet and interior. Took me most of the day.
