they're sweet because they bolt on. i can't weld worth a shit so bolt on stuff is nice because i don't have to go through the hassle of getting someone else to do the work for me. you could just bolt them up to an aftermarket bumper and go. if they were priced at around $50 they'd be competitively priced with the warn receiver hitch shackle or the expedition exchange mounts listed above. if they were $50 i'd take them anyday over the $25 flat stock you're trying to sell me. but there is no way in hell i'd pay anywhere close to $173.

you mean you'll sell me some homemade ones for $45 just like the ones expedition exchange sells for $35? that sounds like an even better deal than the flat stock for $25!!!

I have no idea what they sell. I'm just offering a 1" shackle mount welded to 1/2" plate with 4 mounting holes. If you could buy something like that for $35 why would you say you'd buy the pictured ones for $50?

Look savemr, I didn't mean to start an argument here. I was just pointing out that the mount pictured isn't all that special. Mounts like that are readily available for very reasonable prices. A fact you, apparently, know.

Check out the entire lineup. The biggest K2 swivel hoist ring is rated for 100,000 pounds! That should *almost* be strong enough for anything you are likely (or unlikely) to do with a Jeep.
