Stolen XJ in Lakewood

I'l keep my eyes open up North.
 
I'm in Westminster, I'll keep an eye out for it as well. Hope the fawkers are caught and they don't beat your ride too much.

It's CO plate 440 ONK. Front plate was in the window since I hadn't fabbed a bracket for the ARB but the rear plate was mounted on the drivers side rear. Thanks!
 
THEY FOUND IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's at the Denver Impound now. Officer I spoke to said all there was was damage to the column from hot wiring it but otherwise seems intact. I asked where they found it but they didn't know.

Can't wait to go pick it up. I'll take pics of the column damage or if there is anything else and post them up.

Thanks a million to everybody for keeping their eyes peeled for the past 48 hours. I owe you all a beer for at least helping me keep my spirits up!

Glad to hear they just gave it a joy ride - hope they didn't tear up anything else. If you need a replacement steering column, PM me, I have one (airbag style) with a key, pulled and ready.
 
So haven't been able to see the jeep yet. It's still in the impound waiting to be fingerprinted. I told the officer to keep it as long as they need if it means helping to catch the SOB responsible. Just waiting to hear back from them when I can come pick it up. I'll bring my camera to the impound lot and photograph it the way I find it so I'll be sure to post those up.

YELLAHEEP: Thanks for the steering column offer. I'll get back to you for sure if I need it, but I wont' know that until the insurance adjuster gets a look at it.

It's a huge weight lifted knowing that it's in a safe place but getting anxious now to see it and start the repair work. Thanks again to everybody who kept their eyes open while the XJ was AWOL.
