Stolen XJ 8-6-07

My coworkers '98 Xj was stolen today between 1:00-5:00pm today from our office in kearny mesa, San Diego. It is a blue 4x4 with 32" Rubicon Take offs, wilderness bumper in rear, rock lizards in front, Bumper w/ Piaa lights, 3" RE lift Tinted windows. please keep an eye out. thanks

thats shitty. seems like more and more jeeps keep getting stolen. I live in Escondido now and im scared for mine.

just a good tip i think: Back your JEEP in to a space, because the rear wheels are locked when its in park and the front isn't. And actually alot of theifs use tow trucks and they will just come pick them up and it will look like a tow truck is taking the car but its a car theif. Just a thought. Its a little harder for them to steal.

I will keep my eye open.

Ummm actually they will just drag it. Dosent matter what way you park.:conceited

Might want to post up some pics, may help if someone sees it around. (sorry for your luck/loss , put in a kill switch next time)

Does the kill switch keep me from dragging it? (sorry)

Post pics of the stolen XJ...I don't think an XJ goes by that I don't notice.

Well smarty pants.......... nothing really does, except maybe a big ole chain. Guy never said anything about his getting towed (stating help to his topic not the towing one), but back to the subject........ hope ya find your rig bro!!
 
sorry to hear and good luck on getting it back for your co-worker. It probably went south but I 'll keep my eyes open up here in OC

I've noticed that also, especially in that area. My guess is they are scraping for parts or wheeling the P out of them. Good luck in getting it back, hope it works out.
