Stock speaker wire routing

Hello I recent bought a 2000 XJ Sport.
The previous owner must of had some kind of big stereo system installed and cut all the wires when he sold it.

I'm trying to figure out how the speaker wire to the rear speakers in the head liner are routed. I pulled off a bunch of trim pieces on the passenger side but didn't have any luck finding anything.

Also are the wires at the speakers the same colors as back at the head unit?

They run down the pasenger side of the vehicle and they go up the rear pillar into the sound bar. I am not sure of the wire colors but iuf you do a search on here you will find those.

Are they suppose to be in the main wire harness that is wrapped in black tape? ( The harness that goes up the rear pillar into the sound bar. )
Or are they seperate?

I believe that they are wraped in that tape.

I was curious about the same thing, as I installed speakers in the tailgate but don't have any sound coming from them. My previous research indicated that the speaker wires run down the driver's side, behind the spare tire mount. I looked behind that panel but found no wires. I guess I'll look on the passenger side.

My stock amp is removed. Hopefully I will be able to trace the wires back from amp location or tap into them there. I'll try tomorrow when there is some light.

I have seen the rear soundbar speaker wires on either the pass and driver side depending the the model year.
