Still Waters Ranch Llano TX, http://www.stillwatersranch.com/activities/
Austin Jeep Exclusive is able to host a number of "Open by Invitation" weekends at Still Waters next year. Here's what we have so far. $40 weekend/$25 day driver, $10 weekend/$5 day passenger.
First Weekend is Jan 23 & 24. Planning to schedule several more weekends in Feb and Mar and then our Fathers Day event in June.
Primitive camping / Boondocking on the Still Waters Ranch is FREE (we got an OK for it on a trial basis for the first weekend). RV hookups are available at the Oxford.
We'll have members there who know their way around the ranch to get you to and from the trails but, this is NOT a "guided event" as everyone out there will be paid participants. We will set up around 4 groups of comparably equipped rigs to go out together - the ranch is over 3,000 acres so without someone who knows their way around, you could spend hours looking for a trail or running a trail backwards and blocking another group. We haven't worked out exact hours but, it looks like 9 - 5 Sat and 9-3 Sun.
Basic Rules (mostly because someone did it, and made a bunch of us miserable):
No latecomers! Gates Will be Locked.
No Unescorted Wheeling
No alcohol on the trail
No Dogs
