Me and some buddies are planning on hitting up Spring Creek tomorrow. Has anyone been up there recently? How bad has it gotten?
The last time I was there I was in my stock 88 Zuki Samurai, the only part I actually had problems with was the Rock Garden. I probably wouldn't have had as much trouble with it either if I had realized I was in the Rock Garden before I'd managed to get stuck right smack dab in the middle of it, by that point it was too late to bypass it.
Most of us will be in stock vehicles. There should be my 99XJ (stock), a 2000 Tacoma TRD (stock), a 88 4Runner (stock), and a 2000ish Ford Ranger (also stock). There might also be two other 4Runners, one with a small lift and the other with a lot of mods under its chassis.
Any current info on the trail would be much appreciated, and if you want to tag along we'll be leaving Thorton area around 12:30-1:00pm saturday. Just PM me and I'll give you a call.
