Like the title says!

I had one that used Kerosene among other fuels, including pump diesel. It had a good life. I replaced it with a propane heater. The propane is OK, but a little more expensive, and less convenient to use the compressed gas. Both units blast heated air where you point them.

I'm half wishing I had bought another kerosene heater, but wonder if I'm forgetting something about using the old one.

Have you used both? Which is your preference, and why?

85000btu kero heater running on diesel is what i will be firing up tonight

Carbon monoxide poisoning? I despise kerosene heaters. LP FTW!!

Actually, a Nat. Gas unit heater is the shiznitzle!!!! They can be converted to run on LP as well.
Interesting comment Frank. Granted I'm trying to heat a glorified drafty old shed with a cement floor, but it was difficult to breath after the shop got warm. Maybe it was just plain ol' asphyxiation without any poisenous by-products.

I fired the thing up last night, ran for awhile, got tired of hearing it and shut down. About 20 minutes later it was a little chilly for my sweater. If the ol' shack was insulated, and not so drafty, it would be much cheaper to heat. Since it's a rental, I'll just have to live with it.

I did find this :D: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gc1URQgQWNo

I've got a natural gas line in my garage already so I'm thinking I'll just get a gas heater and run it off of that.

My landlord has a natrual gas heater in his shop. He's pretty cool about letting me work there, I just don't want to wear out the welcome.

You call my buddy back???
