I see Obama doing what he sees as proper to help out us all, despite the arrogance and ignorance of his nation.

Interesting. Not only does that statement manage to insult the populace of the entire country in more ways than one, but it also manages to indirectly excuse the President from ignoring the will of the people.

Would you care to elaborate on your opinions, or are you just going to be another stab in the dark and run kinda guy? :dunno:
its easy, at least Palin has a set of tits for us to look at, meaning she contributes more to this country than obama

Right, I totally forgot they put Harvard degrees in Cracker Jack boxes.

IMO, the only thing that's half-witted about Obama is his soft stance with Republicans. They're willing to block everything from the nuclear START treaty to funding U.S. troops until they get their way on those Bush-era tax cuts... these are the same tax cuts, btw, that served the US economy so well these past few years *cough sarcasm.

Which people? The majority of sane Americans, or the fringe group of fanatics obsessed with sabotaging any progress whatsoever?

What... and risk more of your long-winded double-standard liberal bias?

Looks like a lot of the creditable people who helped elect Obama aren't agreeing with you, sorry...

You're right... let's make the economy even worse by increasing taxes, that'll show 'em who's boss!

The retarded housing/finance decisions made by clinton and bush did the economy in, not the tax cuts.

It is sad that anything more than a one-lined quip is some form of long winded liberal-biased double-standard.

I was prepared to stand corrected, but to call that poll creditable?

2/3 of that page is an advertisement for Scott Rasmussen, his books and where you can buy them, how you can advertise on his site, and how to get him to speak at your event. The remainder 1/3 is seemingly factual data gathered from the poll, which is taken through an automated system. There is no statical data I could find rooting through the page, while they do mention a total of 1500 "likely voters" were polled over a three day span, they do not provide demographic data on said people, nor do they provide a list of the questions given to those polled.

In contrast, here is a transparent poll.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/society/2008/nov/16/uk-drug-use-survey-statistics-poll

They present a statistical analysis of the findings AND the actual data used to come to those conclusions. While the Rasmussen poll spends more time telling you how great they are, and how you should believe them and not the others, than they do presenting the actual findings of the poll.

It is scary to me that so many people, Americans, don't take the time and research what they are told; right or left.

Agreed, and thankfully they did... I like my home, and the price I paid for it :D

This I sorta agreee with. I paid 38k cash for my house a few months ago, would have cost at least 100... but it is a wreck and I am rebuilding it one thing at a time, full gut and rebuild.

But at what cost? The economy is in the tank and unemployment is nearing 10%. Still not a good thing.

So it's ok for governmental meddling in the housing market to play a large role in the financial troubles we're having so long as you get a cheap house out of it?

Yeah, I'd rather have a my job still and be renting than own my house with no job...
