Here is a man that is heaven, tore parts of his XJ, policing the trail picking up parts for a friend, the trail gods smiling down with the weather, with the hat and glasses, and in Tellico.
If you know Woody you know this is true.
I hope that one day I can look that happy

What have y'all done now? My 'parent radar' is pinging like crazy... I feel like I'm being greased up for something unusual and not neccesarily nice...

Actually I was in Trail Heaven that day... great weather, great folks, great carnage...

As for remaining upbeat, it's a chore some days, but even if I am having a poor day, I try not to bother others with it. The world is assed up enough without my adding to it

My favorite story is on one of the last Tellico crawls, Woody got in late and it was raining. For some reason all he had to sleep under was a small tarp and no bag or pad. I offered him a spot in my RV but his response was that as long as the rain wasn't hitting him directly he'd get a good night sleep. Better than many in the military. Now maybe I just stink real bad but I think that guy has a real good attitude. It's been a pleasure to wheel with him and I look foreward to the Cherokee crawls each year in part because of him.
