i have a 3" lift and have been searching for ways to improve the handling and quality of my jeep on the road. I guess most people would say get good shocks? what kind of shocks do you guys reccomend for the best road ride quality? do they make that much of a difference?

Also what other suspension/steering components can i upgrade for a better ride?

I have a 3" rustys lift, 31" BFG mud terrains.

I would suggest new leafs if your serious about it. If you plan to go larger try and get as flat a leaf pack as possible, getting lift from shackles. This will give you more flex and a smoother ride then a very arched leaf pack. And deffinatly try and avoid blocks.

Get full leaf packs. RS9000's will give you the choice of soft ride, or tight handling. Apparently, you can't have both. So I pick when I want each! I'm amazed at how soft/floaty it can be on the highway on "1", and how tight around town it can be when stiffened up.
