OK now. Some of you may think I started this thread to find out who will be carrying the extra parts so when I break I know who to call for help. Your right.

Last year BrothrDave offered up a rear driveshaft when I lost the rear u-joint. fortunately, I had an extra in the Jeep.

I will assume most if not all will have the basic recovery gear, camping gear, food and beer or beverages of choice. But, what about when an alternator goes out after a water crossing?

This can never be posted too many times:
In order to participate on this (and any other) :: event you must follow the below:

Minimum Equipment Requirements
1: Visibly charged fire extinguisher (BC or ABC type)
2: First Aid Kit
3: Adequate spare tire, jack, and lug wrench*.
4: Safety belts for driver and all passengers.
5: Adequate tow points. Must be of OEM or greater integrity (no three bolt cheap brackets), d-rings, shackels, etc are all good as long as the hook or bumper brackets meet or exceed the OEM kit. Welded tow hooks are never allowed.
6: Snatch strap without metal hooks.
7: Battery must be properly secured.

*Notes*
Rule 3 may be waived at trail leaders discretion.

Safety Rules
Driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol is not permitted.
Safety belt use is mandatory.
Pets should be well-behaved or secured.
Do not exceed the maximum speed limit on all roads, public or private.

Suggested Equipment
In addition to the above list of required equipment the following equipment is recommended.
CB Radio
Extra food & water
Flashlights
Blanket or sleeping bag

So I will have at the least a set of d30 axle shafts, U-joints, alternator, various clamps, fasteners, fuses, tie wire, electrical wire, tape, fluids and tools. What else?

other than the required I will have a spare tie rod end, 29 spline shaft, ball joints and a few other odds and ends.

I've got welding rod, U-joints, probably my stocker Dana30 short shaft, umm... plenty of other random stuff. Probably should get a hi-lift

Ill be bringing shafts for the 30/44, drive shaft, the usual fuses, tools, tapes, hi lift, spare tire, ujoint (2) and that's it.

I've got a 3/4' breaker bar and 36mm socket for the axle nuts that I might as well say I'll add to my list. that and a nice 4' cheater. works great. I'll probably throw in a unit bearing or two, spare track bar (just cause I have one) some random nuts and bolts, and blah blah blah

Only running the stocker trail on Friday and a little geocaching on Saturday.
