Is your hood latch messed up? Otherwise I don't understand the $30 on pins.

yeah im getting the lugnuts for the bling, and im getting the pins since im takin the latch out of my 95 to put in the 98, plus it be good to have pins in case of a under hood fire, i was thinkin about the motor, im just gonna do gaskets and rear main no oil pump or frt main, i dont know how long this motor will last so no reason to put all kinds of time and money into it

Looks like the VC gasket you linked is cork... Its worth it to upgrade to the blue rubber gasket with the metal frame. You can look them up under 2002 TJs or something like that. They use pins on top of the head bolts to keep the gasket located, but Im pretty sure you can still use them without those. The frame keeps them in shape so you dont have to worry about the cork squishing in, and also, you can reuse them if you have to pull the cover in the future...and no scraping to get them off!!

They are a little more pricy though...just a thought.
