so instead of monotubes i have been looking at bilstein 5150s...since they are just a bit more...

however...how the hell do i measure what size i need?

i was gonna just get the JKS shock conversions to make them fit...

thats the place i found the shocks. i know what valving i need the 255/70...however idk what size is appropriate...btw this is for a 3.5 RE superride...thanks!

they will ride about the same on road, the bilstiens will probably work a little bit better offroad if you decide to take it out ;)

I have NO experience with RE monotubes. But there was a very noticeable difference in the the shocks that came with my 4.5" kit (not RE) vs Bilstein 5150's on and off-road. On road it handled way better around the corners. Plus I can floor it on the pot holes and speed bumps. Not that I do that in a residential. But I CAN. :D
