Selling custom Alcan Big 8 leafs

I will be ready to sell my springs finally in just a couple of more weeks. Just want to see who wants them. they are as follows: Custom Alcan 8" leaf spring packs built exact to B.O.R.'s with the exception of being built 75lbs heavier (=425lbs). These are great springs for those who have heavy bumpers, cages, or just like to carry lots of tools. These springs are just like new, no rust or visable wear.The springs only have about 6000 miles on them and have only been wheeled 3 times. My Jeep is getting a slight down sizing due to the amount of Hwy. use it is getting. Once I get it all payed off it will be getting coilovers, but thats about three years off. I am selling these springs for $400 plus shipping. ( I payed $550 ) I will consider delivery within 200 miles. I can bring the springs to the Moab run in Oct. But I must have full payment this month. So I can have my Jeep Ready to go. I Live in northern Utah.

I would definitely be interested in those springs...however, I have some 6.5" Rock Krawler's with the Krawler shackle that I need to get rid of. I'm using them now with a 3" AAL and it works well (not too stiff), but I'd like to get just a little more lift. Your springs and a shackle would be perfect. Do you have any interest in my springs and cash...or know anyone that might be interested in mine?

i am looking for some new rear springs for the '91, i am looking to get about 8-11" of lift. how tall do those rockkrawler ones sit with the shackle and add a leaf? what about the alcan as well, how tall did they sit for you on your XJ? let me know as well as a price for the rockkrawler ones too. thanks, kirk

Are you sure you payed $550? I just checked the BOR site and they are only $450 now...maybe he sold enough to where he could drop the price?

The springs I am selling are not from B.O.R. They are built the same but they are built 75 lbs. heavier to handle extra weight as stated above. $550 is what I payed including shipping. And the shipping charges wher around $50. As for the trade, I am selling these springs in order to buy another set of custom Alcans, only 2"smaller. This is for the bushing and springs only. And they are in like new condition. These springs perform great both on and off road. The $400 is a firm price, but the shipping I might be able to help on a little. Thanx for the offer on the trade.

These springs set at about 9" with an extended shackle. without any extra weight they will set at 10 to 10.5" Let me know I need to get rid of these thing fast.assgas:

i am very interested in the springs, but they sell for $449 new, so is your price still $400, or lower since the original price you thought they sold for was $550. i want the springs, but if the price is $400, i will get new ones for $50 more. keep me posted. thanks.

Ok , one more time $500 is the price I payed to Alcan for these springs. I do have my reciept. If you would like to make an offer then I would consider it, but I am not going to debate what I know I payed for my springs.

I will consider some type of trade for big 6's from B.OR. just because I need my new springs Quick. And I am running out of time to have some made up.

These springs have poly bushings in them. I will have to sit on your offer for just a while to see if anything better comes up. But I will keep you in mind as I don't have long to do this.
