So I have noticed T-case fluid dripping around the rear output of mt 231 SYE. So tonight while checking things out I spun the drive line and the real output seal spun in the tail housing of the T-case. Its like the seal is stuck on the out put yoke. Ever seen this before?? Im thinking I need to replace the seal and use locktite compound seal to hold it in there. Any thoughts??

lol sorry Im on flu meds I didnt see that. I would get ahold of AA and see what they say befor you do to much to it, like the center punch trick.
AA is closed until 1.2.13, they were the first ones I called. This morning I should be getting a call from Rustys ( thats where I bought it ) and see what they say about it. In the mean time its red locktite & sealed in there. I want to wheel this weekend

Hows the seal holding after a couple days of driving and wheeling?

I marked it and seemed to hold. Just about every time we stopped I looked under the jeep and never saw "red" in the snow.

I remember back at one time I had some stuff called seal set or something of that name. I googled it and didn't find anything. But I remember the instructions claimed to lock a seal in place with up to a .015 gap.
