Rumble in the front

For the last few months there has been a growing rumbling in the front of the truck axel area I think maybe on the right side. the sound dissappears when I take a hard right but doesn't get any worse on a hard left. wheel brgs and balljoints are good. I have no clue why the noise is there and been just waiting for something to break so I can find the prob.

Any ideas?

Check your gears. Look for wear on the face of the teeth. That will cause a growl but I don't know about it going away on turns. The pinion bearings will also pit and such and will cause a growl. Easy way to tell is pull your diff cover and look for exessive metal flakes in the gear lube. It will look like diamond dust in the oil and can be a little gritty depending on how bad it is.
