there is a thread on PBB right now about Memorial Day on the Con. The general consenus right now is to wait a couple of weeks until it dries out up there. There was quite a bit of ruts and damage done last year and there wasn't nearly the amount of snow then.

well we are still thinkin about it!! u know anyother place like the con to run that weekend? cuz i want to go WHEELIN!!!!!!!!

There's several feet of snow up there right now and in a week it isn't all going to magically disapear. Wheeling up there as it is right now(or is going to be in a week) would not be kind to the trail. I say stay off the trail and give it a couple weeks.

Okay...I'm a lurker here...but Jes..had to jump in and congratulate you on the signature. I've always wanted my XJ to be as bling-bling as yours!

this thread was started by Del Albright, founder of Friends of the Rubicon and California Representative of the Blue Ribbon Coalition. If you are unfamiliar with either of these two groups, please check out their websites

If Del suggests that we stay off the Rubicon until it dries out, I suggest that we listen to him. As a guy who just spend 100's of hours and thousands of dollars on his rig, I know what it's like to want to go wheeling. But I will not hurt the trail by driving on it in its present condition.
