Got a Drift HD Ghost a couple of months ago, finally had the opportunity to mount it under my Jeep.

Cool.

What do you think of the Drift HD Ghost? I've seen quite a few comparisons versus the GoPro HD, and the Drift seems to have better quality video and sound.

So far, so good. I can't say I have an exacting eye for video quality. As long as it's taking taking vids and pics and not locking up, I'm happy. I do like that a case isn't needed for everyday use and being able to rotate the lens to correct the orientation is a nice feature, too.

I was going to get a Hero3, but the reviews scared me off.

When I started researching a purchase, I was surprised how many action cams there are out there.

none of them seem to have the presence of GoPro. Not saying they aren't as good. I myself just never knew there were so many.
