Location
Dallas
I know it's still a while away, but I like to plan ahead. Especially for a trip like this one. So far I plan on going up through Amarillo, Colorado Springs, Denver, then through Grand Junction into Moab. :yelclap:Spend a few days there then head south through an old route 66 backroad into St. George and Las Vegas. After that, into Mojave, Big Bear, Riverside, and Finaly Long Beach. On the return trip, down to San Diego along the coast, and into Pheonix and Tucson. And back to Dallas. :star: Who wants to come along in their XJ with me?! :wantyou::rof:

Is this a road trip or are you wheeling as you go?

Wheelin as I go! duh lol!

how much time are you going to take for the trip(that you have planned)?? i wouldnt mind going to moab, but you would have to do this trip early summer as well. it gets hot in az and socal pretty early.

As soon as I get outa school around June the 5th. And as for how long, no more than 4.5 weeks. I have to put a new suspension on my Jeep and get an Overland tent. Trailer too.

That would be cool but most of us are working adults. Take 4.5 weeks off would be out of the question fro probably 99 percent of us.

Well, what sounds good to you?

:rolleyes:Where's Big Bend at?

how about a group going to clayton....start at the ridge by the state park and run it east into arkansas...there is a trail running all the way across....google earth it and take a peek

lol. im joking. thats why I made the face. But anyway, i'm not going east. Im going west into Cali. I could go up to Moab with somebody and then from there we can split.

well lets go. But i am still goin to Cali. So, anybody can come as far as they want.:patriot:
