Getting 15x7 AR23s and Wrangler Duratracs 235x75x15

I still have to make tight turns for parallel parking in the city, so my concern is rubbing at full turn slow speeds.

Also, is there any reason I should get 15x8 wheels? It seems to be a more standard choice. Is there any up or downside to one over the other?

I would like to do some light offroad, but nothing serious. Have no immediate plans for a lift.

This is my daily driver. But this winter has been murder, more grip on the snow and a little lift from the tires will be very helpful.

thx all

We've been running 235/75/15 Wranglers on 4 different Xj's and the only time rub has been much of a problem, it's only went cranked as far as possible and maybe flexing the suspension a little.

The tire size and wheel widths won't be an issue, although I'd run a 7" wheel with 235 rubber. The backspacing might be an issue however. My friend has 235 rubber on 15x8 MT wheels (3.5-3.75" BS?), and they rubbed the fenders at stock height. With the same size tires, I had no problems on stock wheels.

I don't think you will rub much. Thats only like a 29x9.5 tire. I have that size on my ZJ and it sometimes rubs at full lock. And then I think its only in reverse and on one side.
