did some work on my t case and now im leaking fluid from the rear seal the one i bought doesnt seem to fit the shaft but fits the casing (outer diameter fits snug but inner around the shaft not snug ... ) i have the slip yoke eliminator does it require a different seal??

Im going through the same thing right now, my seal was spinning in the housing and leaking. The seal I used is National 3946 or CR 18662. I got mine at O O O Oriellys, for $18. And to Ask this, how many brands of SYE are there? Mine is AA , I bought it at Rustys Off Road.

I have the home made one on my 90 where you drill, tap the out put and bolt the yoke on,and use bolts and straps. my 93 has a ford style 4 bolt flat type yoke.I think it uses a diffrent tail houseing. I belive my home made is a version of the hack and tap.

The hack & tap is cool. I thought that the AA was the only company that made the SYE kits for the 231.
