Anybody have any idea what I can do to these aside from cutting them completely out. I don't mind doing that it just looks kinda odd with only 31" tires.

Looking for some kind of a weld in piece or something that will cover the gap if I cut the rust out. The rust does not exceed the top of the bumper (height wise).

I'm getting some rust on my rockers which I'm going to use Por15 on to try and save that but my rear fender looks worse than it does in this pic now so I gotta do something to salvage what I can.

If you've got rust on the rockers and the paint is bubbling instead of the rust being in pitted spots on the paint... they're already gone. Rust came through from the inside. I'd bet you could stick a screwdriver right through the rust spots.

As for the rear fenders - http://naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=29750 improves your clearance as a bonus. Will look kinda funny with a stock bumper though.

EDIT: on that second bit apparently I can't read, you don't want to do that. Good luck, you can probably find some patch panels or bring a sawzall to the JY and then do a bit of careful welding and bondo/paint work.

Yea.. I had done this to my old K5 blazer. With stock bumpers it looks kinda ghetto. But it should keep the rust from progressing. I'm sure the rockers are worse than I'm anticipating.
