So I am getting my 33's put on this week, 4.10's either this week or next, and I have 3.5" of lift with a good amount of trimming fron and back.
So obviously I want to do some bumpstop work front and back.
I went to pull the rears off and guess what... 1 bolt each side broke off. My idea now is to fab up some square stock tubing for a total of 1.5" bumpstop extension with half a hockey puck bolted to the square tube. Grand total of 2" bumpstop over stock. To attach the bumpstop I had thought myabe I could use one bolt, and weld the other end on. Or I could just weld the whole thing on, which would be best. I figured if I weld the tube on I could use it to attach to later if need be.
For the front I'll get a few more hockey pucks for now, until I go to more lift.
Thoughts on the situation?
thanks
