Rear brake question

I'm trying to order up all the parts I need (via rockauto) to overhaul the brakes front/rear on my 89 XJ Limited but I'm having a hard time with the rears, specifically with sizing.

My rig has the factory tow package but is equipped with the D35 not D44. I can see the max dia. cast onto the drums confirming that I have 10" brakes but what I cannot decide (without pulling a wheel and measuring) is the width. Rockauto lists 10x1.75 and 10x2.50 for the rear shoes.

From my searching I've concluded that the 10x2.50 which rockauto lists for the tow package would be for the d44 which I don't have?

So I should order the 10x1.75 for my d35? I hate rockautos catalog.

AdvancedAuto doesn't even list the 10x2.50 for an 89, NAPA has both but no description as to which is which.

just measure the outside width from the backing plate lip to the outside curved edge, if it's less than 2.5" you have your answer. The under hang of the drum under the lip will make up for the wheel mount thickness and given the 3/4" difference in pad width ... the measurement should give it away pretty quickly ...

... or take the opportunity to swap to disk. ;D

There probably 1 3/4, that's what mine are and I got the tow pkg. and d-35 trac-loc.

Check out the calipers on Rockauto, picked up a loaded set for 32.00
