Radiator standard all years? (open system)

I'm hearing some rumblings from radiator folks that the 93 radiators, which I have, may fit different than other XJ's... is this bogus? One radiator outfit, when I asked for the Modine 2 core replied:
We just sold a M2802 for this, and the customer went bonkers about the hose connection or some extra sensor.. i would rather not send this item.. I would rather send the silla or csf .. that are direct fits.

Why not get the Modine 3 core? There are no sensors on the rad to worry about on XJ rads, but there is on the ZJ rad. (someone may have ordered the wrong one)

I HAVE A 93 myself which i just put a csf ALL COPPER radiator into yesterday it fit fine . I think the number was a 2670 , the silla was made i china , not all copper , the csf was made in indonesia appears to be good quality.the only difference to amount to anything was it had condenser brackets made on to it , i just discarded the factory ones it is a 2 core where my factory was a 1 core although the 1 core has wider tubes
