:variety: My chevy duallys rear tires are rubbing sidewalls a hair....235/85R16's never rubbed before but I never had 3 built jeeps and a pop up camper on the traileo either...I heard it was a very bad thing to have the side walls rubbing but I've seen plenty of trucks with huge dually tires that rub constantly...I need help quick...leaving any minute for tellico...gotta know if the camper has to come off and then shift my load of jeeps for better balance....going to check my pressure too but we usually keep it near max load psi

Yup, it's a BAD thing. Rubbing sidewalls will build up heat quickly. And fail, probably when you're fully loaded.

I doubt you've seen tires rubbing on the road. Close maybe, but not rubbing. Are you sure your sidewalls are rubbing? And if they aren't pumped up hard, do so.

With a pop-up camper and a tag trailer with 3 vehicles on it, I would be concerned about overloaded tires, period.

Pick up a cheap wheel spacer. They have them in increments running from 1/8" and up.

Ok, changed the load a bit. Now just three jeeps loaded far back on the trailer...truck isnt squating now either...tires not rubbing...definately rubbing before...nice clean rub SQUEAK constantly...could see the clean rubber ring around the tires...now just one 7k trailer with 1 xj on 35's, 1 on 36's, and one mj on 35's...thats gotta be only 16 or 17k right? I'm gonna burn a lot of fuel getting up to tellico....atleast its tuned up this time...hoping to spend less than $600 in fuel...damn big block...

Uhhh..... you're gonna want to scale that thing...... I suspect you're gonna be closer to 19k on the trailer alone.

Don't load too far back on the trailer, either. That thing will wag like a dog if you're light on the tongue.

Seriously, that's a LOT of trailer for a 1 ton rig.

It can handle it. It just cant handle having a MJ w/ halfton axles and 35's parked right over the gooseneck :laugh3: . I've got it ballanced pretty good. My jeep all the way in the rear. Just enough tongue weight. Rear suspension isnt over whelmed like it was when loaded the other way. And I am looking forward to a F550 crew...just a few more years of nursing this one along. And the trailer brakes will almost stop the whole rig by them selves.

Usually only haul mid to small size cars and never have any problems.
