For a minute, I thought it was the guy with the disco headlights/iced out emblems/20" dubs. That install kind of worries me, but it runs and didn't seem to be on fire. Got to admit, I wouldn't mind the extra 100 hp.

This Jeep is yet another red disaster. Sure an extra 100hp would be nice, but I still wouldn't be caught dead driving this thing. It's too damn tacky.

Ya know, its tacky, but I give the guy credit, he obviously doesn't use the jeep offroad, and more so this is all from a volvo....when was the last time you guys had the balls to make your own turbo kit, alot more involved that just bolting shit on.

I'll go ahead and say it: I get a little bit hot and bothered thinking about turboing my 98, but don't have the cash or the know-how.
I stand by my comments about the rest, though: looks like ass with those rims & fender crap.

i think id lower it slightly get some 16" rims off a limited and do the whole thing as stealth as i could.
i have my off road beater, so a street toy is next in line, and if i could do all XJs, well why not?

I think a 1-2" drop on a two door XJ with beijing body components, 16" rims and a worked 4.0 or 4.x would be pretty hot. NP 242 would help, too.
Of course, at that point you are working pretty hard to make it a Subaru - so why not buy a turbo 'Ru and play with the boost?

well would a 4dr work for ya. I have a 95 2wd thats getting that treatment plus a little more. I need a run around/work car when i don't need my 1 ton so why not have fun with it. we are going to find out just how much a 4.0 can take from a turbo, (whats the worst that can happen :explosion:explosion )

Im very offended by the SS badge
I'm offended by it because I'm Polish, and SS represented the gestapo (Nazi Secret State Police), but that's a different story altogether.
If you want to be offended by the SS badge from an automotive standard alone than you might-as-well get angry at GM first... recently they've been putting it on everything... even the cobalt. I wouldn't be surprised to see an Aveo SS edition.... or ASS for short lol

Ha, I agree... SS used to mean (other than hitler's secret police) that GM was stuffing the BIGGEST F"ING engine they could into what ever the tag was one... unlike the cobalt which got... um... a wing? Maybe?
