New guy around here and thanks to suggestions from Fitch and lots of reading on the board :read: I finally purchased an XJ to replace my 94 Dakota. Here is the scoop:

1998 Jeep Cherokee Classic 4x4
Chili Pepper Red with quartz (gray) interior
4.0 I-6 AW-4 Automatic
Factory Towing package (aux tranny cooler, class III hitch and wiring, 8.25" rear axle!!!)
A/C
Tilt wheel
Cruise control
Power windows and locks
Power brakes and power steering
Factory CD/Cassette/AM/FM radio
Driving Lights
Full size Spare with matching aluminum wheel

75k miles and looks like it will need an exhaust system before winter (DARN!) No cracked exhaust manifold or leaky heater box (at least as far as I can tell). Here are pics from the dealer:

Very nice, looks mint!, I bet you cannot wait to take it out in the mud!!, Just remove the running boards, add a RE 4.5" kit, 32" BFG MT's and your Jeep will thank you for it.....take care of your new Jeep buddy, it looks awsome...

I like the color but get rid of the running boards, sell em on Ebay and pick up a set of rock sliders :D

Naw, don't listen to these guys, be different and keep it stock. :laugh3: Seriously, we need more XJ's out there that look that good.

I like it a lot too, but the first thing I thought when I saw it is those running boards would get ripped off really easily. Looks like a nice one. :rof:
