Re: pulling a bogonia

Good lookin car. Weren't those cars in a convertible kinda rare?

Re: pulling a bogonia

yeah its a 4 banger.

and i read that they didn't bring the 318i convertible to the states until 91. so it might be a little rare.

i think the 325 convertibles are a little more common.

Re: pulling a bogonia

Nice ride. We had a 93 at one time. Great car. It was the 4 door though and not a convertable. There is a shit tone of aftermarket suppoort for the BMW's. bavarian autosport I think is one company.

Re: pulling a bogonia

yeah the body style you have runs from 92 to 98 or 99 i believe, mine is an e30 yours is e36

the e36's are notorious for falling apart,

i actually rode in a 325 convertible on the way to get mine and both door panels were falling off the windows didn't roll up and down right, the radio had stopped working, fuel gauge didn't work, if he went over 70 the drivers front wheel would shake and feel like it was coming loose,

and the only way to stop it was to step on the brake. like a loose strut or ball joints or somthing.

crappy...

The 93 we had was bought new and never had that kinda problem. It was a great car. Never did anything major till the clutch went out at 160K miles.
