Possible pre-Toy drive work day/weekend?

Weird Guy - no need to run to the store for me. If you don't have them lying around at home, I wouldn't worry about it. And I don't know how many I need yet, haven't had a chance to flex it out yet. Maybe 1 or 2 per side. Only 31's. I can pick some up on my own if needed.

And I can't seem to catch a break lately. If I make it to the fun factory it will have to be after noon sometime. Currently browsing SYE options on lunch. . .

Let me check - I probably still have a handful of pucks at home from my playing days.

Cool beans. I just pulled the trigger on the IRO h&t sye with 'refurbed' front shaft. I'll have Tim use his super mad tight straight drilling skills on the output shaft so I don't fubar it.

Does anyone who will be at Tim's place on 11/5 have hockey pucks I could buy off them? I would like to bumpstop the front so I don't mess up my beautiful fenders when I jump a curb at the mall.
I got some from him, and I will have a few left when I install my newer axle since I have alum ext. bumpstops to go it.

So, anyone have some space?

Bueller? Getting close, need a place to stay. Thanks.

hey i think i might be able to come for a bit on sat. What are the details on the work day like time?

ok fellow NAXJA'ers, here are the important details for this saturday:
i'll be in the factory at 8:00 working on my junk & will work until late evening.
there is a fridge in the factory for your drinks that you bring.
i have a full day of stuff to do on my junk, but can try & squeeze in helping others when needed, but i'll let you do the dirty work. :looser:
bring snacks & food to share. (i weld better when i'm not hungry :jester:)
meat & cheeze pizzas rule, vegies on pizza = :puke:
optional: you can't go wrong with anything from taco bell.
pm for directions if you have not been here before.

quick food update: Diane made a huge batch of killer enchiladas, beans, & rice today so we can have a mexican fiesta on saturday! mue bueno!

time for bed so i can hit it hard tomorrow. lots to do in the factory!
the gate opens at 8:00

we got lots done today.
i'll be working in the factory all day sunday if anyone gets bored & wants to stop by & work on their junk.

Did you guys finish Johnnie Walker's rear axle on Saturday night?

yup. got to weld the modified shock mounts on in the rain. fun! they turned out really nice after all. there was only about 1" of up travel on his shocks though. the ride home must have sucked with 3 complete axle assemblies in the rig! :skull1:

Wasn't horrible actually. Better than when I had stock/sagging leafs with worn out shocks and twice as much crap in the back basically riding on the bumpstops.
Will probably be picking up some stock-ish length sensa trac's from advance auto they have 35% worth of coupon codes I can use + free ship.
The 4.10s are amazing! Got better mpg, can stay at a consistent decent speed uphill/grades.

JW, what are you doing about the front axle?
My old boss still has his shop and I have Thursday off for a couple appts. Need to call him and see if he has time and will let me use his shop/knowledge to setup my 4.10s. Kind of glad that I did not get around to installing it, cuz I forgot my aluminum lower bumpstop spacers to install. Ha! All the crap is still in my Heep, maybe I should go to the local scrap yard on Thursday too..

Im glad everything worked out for ya jeremy. I wish I could have made it out there. Maybe next time!

the factory is closed this saturday (if the weather is clear) but will be open on sunday if anyone needs to work on their junk. i won't be much help as i need to work on my own junk for a change.
