Possible diff fluid leaking from axle tube?

Well I thought I may have had a brake fluid leak since I saw some moisture around the bottom of my brake rotor. I smelled it and it smells like diff fluid. I'm assuming I have a seal that's going bad. This is on a ford 8.8 rear end. Is this seal easy to fix?

My definition of easy would be a step above replacing a leaf spring bushing. I consider that to not be the easiest thing in the world.

Not too bad;
Pull diff cover, pull cross pin bolt and slide pin out. Push axle shaft into the housing (should slide in about 3/8" with cross pin removed) and then remove the c-clip. Then the axle shaft will slide out. The seal is then removed and replaced just like any other seal. All of this is after removing the wheel and brakes of course.

Well that makes it sound simple. Lol.
