It took an extra half day to install since I had to attend the daughters soccer game on Saturday. What a difference. The best 180 bucks I've spent on the rig. Will make the 12 hour drive to southwestern Utah much nicer. I'll be hitting the trails on Wednesday so send out the hounds if I'm not back by Saturday. Anyone in the Zion, Bryce, Kanab area is welcome to stop by the Stevens Farm in Mt. Carmel. Yeah, the town is so small that all you need for directions is the Stevens/Hoffer house. It will be just me and the dog.

On the Timbo hardness factor I would say a 6 out of 10. You do have to take the transfer case out, can't hardly think of a way to do it without. I drooped the transfer case and transmission down as far as they would go. A set of stubby wrenches will help to get the nuts off the front and it really helps if you already have a lift kit on the Jeep. Not so tight underneath.

Invest in a pair of snap ring pliers. The kind not made for snap rings with the little holes. The things that can slow you down. 5/16-24x1&1/2 bolts for the drive line hook-up, new u-joints if needed, rtv sealant. And if your vacuum switch comes off the side and not the back be prepared to cut the shaft. Easily done and is explained in the directions. I just used a hack saw and cleaned it up with a file. The only other thing is getting the front yoke off. I used two bolts and wedged a crow bar in between them. You'll figure it out when you get there. For me it was about an 8 hour job including trips for hardware and lunch at Taco Bell. Oh and check out Yucca-man's web site.
