oh and some where in there a hurricane. im not worried.

Sounds like an awesome way to sink the Jeep in 3 feet of nasty mud. Post some pics and let us know how that works out for ya!

Hmm, that's interesting. I'm only 20-30 minutes away from Aiken.
Is that Langly pond or something else? Damn I hate cleaning up mud.

No private pond North of I-20 off US-1 on old four notch road. It's fairly big has 3 islands in it, small ones, and had a problem with the spillway. So they have been draining it all week. I was out there last weekend helping my uncle out. He had me hanging over a couple feet of stagnant water in a track hoe bucket! It's part of my grandfathers property, but its all divided up between aunts and uncles now. My grandfather had about 20 catfish ponds and tried to make a go at farm raising them later on in life. He was a unique indivudal and knew how to make it off the land. I grew up out there fishing and picking blackberries and what ever else I was told to do. LOL! Good times! I go there quite often. We, my dad, has 48 acres up the road we are setting up for hunting and 4 wheeler riding on. Not really enough to do anything much in a jeep. Has some ok spots though. Shot me a pm if you want to come out for a visit some time.

Sounds like a sweet set up. Having a 9 month old at the house has put a severe damper on the spare time lately. (not complaining) Sounds like there are some excellent ponds to catch some fish around there. Gotta love fishing farm ponds.

Eww! Looks like gumbo mud! Sticks to everything and slick as snot to drive through :D I hate cleaning mud, but for some reason it's still fun to play in it every once in a while. Our trip to Gulches wound up being a muddy mess. Mark and I had some mud-slingin' fun though. Cleaning it all off when we got home was a chore!

Looks like you had a good time! :peace:

It looks like it's filled with silt and you can walk across with the pond full to me

That does look like fun though. I bet you could sink up to the windshield out there in some places

Yah cleaning out mud sucks but herc interior floor's make's it quite a bit easier.

not really...damn mud sticks to it like crazy

Yah but at least you can run a hose over it instead of having mud caked into the carpeting.

Looks are decieving. Where my jeep is sitting water would be over the hood. I would bet that it would be very close to the roof if not over if there was water in it. The mud in this pond is sticky, clay like sticky. I did not get to go where I wanted because it was still too wet. I played on two ledges there too. However, there wasn't anyone to take pictures.

Where's all that good ole carolina clay!? You wanna talk about some mean shit to get off, play in some clay.
