I advertise my business on a local bulletin board pinecam.com. I use a google adwords campaign. I advertise heavily on this board as our local negihbors and my target audience use this board heavily. There are other local businesses that utilize this same venue.
This morning I noticed that my campaign has been hijacked by Mark Udall's election campaign. I can't compete with a politician in this type of ad campaign as the ads are placed according to whoever is willing to pay more. I contacted the campaign center via email and was expecting to be given the big kiss off. To my surprise they not only appeared concerned but they actually adjusted their campaign so as not to adversly effect the other advertisers on the site. They have scaled back their exposure and apologized for any inconvenience.
Will this get him my vote? I don't know, he is with a party other than mine but I do appreciate their attention and apparent concern over any effect their actions may have on the local businesses.
