Place to camp/wheel in nor-cal

A small group of us are planning to go wheeling/camping in a few weeks. Were looking for a good place to go. The rigs are gonna be my jeep, 4.5", 33's, front locker, rear posi, A Early bronco, 4.5", 33's, front powerloc, rear true trac, And 2 mostly stock IFS toy's. Both open, on with about 2" on 32's, on stock on 31's. Were looking for someplace that we have access to some stuff doable in the toys, but maybe also some harder stuff, if the toy drivers wanna ride shot-gun for a drive. I was thinking meadow lake, because you can access fordyce, as well as some easyer trails in the area. And other ideas? We live about 50 miles east of sac on 80. So, the shorter the drive, the better.

I just want to make sure we go somewhere where the toy's arent gonna be on the strap all the time. One of them has already spent enough time on the end of my strap as it is.

Gold Lakes Basin. Snake Lake trail is fun. Contact the Grass Valley Four Wheelers. One of thier members live in Alta. His name is Walley and drive a red CJ5 (?).
I think Billy has some pics?
