Anyone going? Zac and I are going.

We walked downtown to the Fan Fest with Blanco. Tried to go into the beer garden. Cop said dogs weren't allowed at the event, and particularly not in the beer area. I can drop Blanco in the midst of 100's of people walking over him and he won't move, but anyway. He did get petted frequently by some little cuties, so all was not in vain.

That was a long day. Left the house about 5:30 am, got back 9:30 pm. Fun, though, even if it was a goatscrew of a day.

We were up at Devils Playground. Have to 2nd the fact it was a crazy long day. 3:00am to 8:00pm on the mountain. Interesting to read some driver's thoughts on the day. Lots of drivers backed out because they did not get enough practice time on the road. Typically they get 7-8 runs per section. With so many entrees accepted, drivers only got 2-3. I would completely believe that coupled with the late afternoon weather directly led to the 8 red flags.
