Performance parts for Non HO engines

Hi guys,

I have a very good deal for 90 XJ(Non Ho). Are there any problems finding aftermarket performance parts for it? Headers, air intakes, camshafts etc?? And also can i put HESCOs high performance head and big throttle body on this engine.

For an intake, TB, TB spacer, and exhaust, go to :Rusty's Offroad and [http://www.xj-armor.com]XJ Armor[/url].
You can buy the Patriot Performance aluminium head (same as Hesco's) from Summit Performance. Aftermarket camshafts will be the same as those for the HO engine.

I found ou that Hesco is making an adapter to convert the throttle body of an non Ho to a HO than again you can go bigger after it i guess

Pacesetter makes a header, and a ceramic coated header.

I think the head from an HO will fit, and the entire intake/TB. The HO TB needs fabrication to fit the non-HO throttle sensor - which I found to be not too hard. I also had to use the throttle cable from the HO but others have said that's not needed :dunno: I can't tell you about power gains from the intake since I replaced the entire motor with an HO, but the TB is much larger and the intake "looks" better
